Does anyone know what the correct color is for a '67 Skylark 340 4bbl? I've only been able to find mixed information, some say it's Buick green and some say it's Buick red. Thanks!

Correct is red, which is what I repainted mine too. If I ever pull it out of there
again, I'm going back to black and blue to match my car.

When did the color change from green to red?

In 67 the 300 was green and the 340 and 400 were red

1966 higher performance engines in Gran Sports, Wildcats, Rivieras were red. Others were green.
Prior to 66 they were all green, past 67 they were all red.
    66 and 67 were mixed.

The 340 in the 67 Sportwagon, and a 430, dated 1968 that was in another 67 when I bought it were (are) both red.

Derek, I transposed the numbers and meant to say a 1968 430 instead of 340. The 430 was red.

The only 67's that are Buick Green would be the 225 V6 & the 300 V8, as stated above the rest were Buick Red
