OK folks, new to this transmission as I have only had the car for a couple of weeks now. The fluid is yellowed some and smells but not terribly bad so it needs to be changed. From all of the reading I have done on this site and others it sounds like I have the ST 300 in my car with the "switch pitch" converter. I have some wiring issues to figure out with the switch pitch and kickdown but figured I would first start with basic service. I saw a picture in another thread that looked like this transmission has a regular press-in filter under the pan although the manual called it an "oil strainer" it still looked like a filter. I have gone through both NAPA and Carquest (only two parts stores, small town) and neither computer system shows either a kit, filter, or pan gasket available for this transmission. What to do??? :Do No:

    I do have the ST300, don't I???
