66 sportwagon for $1,500

    have a '66 Buick Sportwagon 340ci 260hp 365ftlb torque factory 4barrel carter V8 compresion ratio 10-5-1 car runs but has slight miss still has plenty of power , that is a single owner, completely original and has lowmileage. 69,000 and some change. 2 speed auto tranny . has 3rd row jump seat and power rear window that works. car needs complete restoration but is in overal ok unrestored condition. Car has all chrome and trim. It has a straight body all orginal windows and color is original. There are some rust issues around the window panes along the top and the sides where water collected over the years . production numbers for this car in 1966 was 9,510. The NADA guide for value lists this car at $5500. car currently has water leaks, covered with tarp in yard. just want it to go to a good home before its moisture issues get worse 1500 cash OBO

    That would be a cool wagon to pick up if I were good enough at metal work to fix the rust that is around the top windows!!

    I might have to have one of my boys go look at that. Hopefully the floors aren't rusted out too.

    Well if you pick it up, maybe you can bring it to the big show in Ocean Park next year!!
    You can haul some beer in the back of that baby!

    ... once the top windows start leaking theres no telling what down below will be blown out or near ready to blow out - the water has to exit somewhere after it pools up. Usually its around the doglegs between the the front of the rear wheel and the back door jamb - then into the rockers, floor pans etc.
