`66 Smog pump question

    Hi,i was wondering if i`d be doing any harm if i disconnected the smog pump belt on my `66 GS?

    George, I removed the smog from my 66 Skylark GS in 1967 without any problems. Plugged the exhaust manifolds and added breather caps. Hope this helps

    I understand when taking it all off probably will not harm anything but what i was asking is if i were to just disconnect the belt off the smog pump,would that harm anything?
