Is there anyone with a 66 skylark hardtop that can send me pics of their rear interior. Trying to redo mine and can't find any good pics on the web. Thanks
Here is a shot of mine. It's the only one I have on my computer here at the office. What specifically are you trying to figure out?
No that's great. I just bought a rear seat it from a 67 but it should work. I saw a gap from the end of the rear seat top to the side and wasn't sure it was supposed to be like that but you have it as we'll so that answers my question. You have the same color interior as well. My body was attacked by the 80's though. Bright metallic blue with a hot pink pin strip. Lol. I just have to find front buckets I can afford now. Thanks
Ok guys a new interior question. Do you think the front buckets from 1978 firebird can be made to fit in a 1966 skylark. Don't know if they would be to barrow but they are only $100.
Interior question. your pic is the first I've seen with the same arm rest as I have. is their anywhere I can find replacements. I have the aqua interior.
Sme, That interior pic is from Johnnys car. Are you talking about the front or rear arm rest?? Just realized where you were from. I'm just north of you in Gonzales.
Passed on the firebird seats and went with procar scat low back. A little adjustment need to install as universal is never universal, but overall I'm happy with it. I'm making a center console out of mdx. And keeping the column shift for now. Hopefully I can redo all the vinyl so it matches next year.
The f body look good to, but the lowback a where a good buy. I was worried about the quality but is really good for the money and not to hard to install. I'm working on making a center console to hold my coffee and the tach iPod stuff like that. Didn't intend in switching the interior over to black from the 2 tone blue but the front door and rear trim panels are cheaper to replace then reupholstering the front and rear seats. I guess it's the labor. Black looks better with the electric blue exterior
