I'm just about done collecting parts for my 66 skylarks interior. Does anyone re produce the long arm rest pad for the front door that uses a paddle style handle? Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks Ryan

I think they are the same as 65s and they are not made by anybody.Pretty hard to find good used ones too....

That sucks. :( I should have the car back from paint next week. The arm rest pads are the only thing I'm missing to put the interior in this car.

Ive never seen that site before. Theres tons of stuff I could use for my '67 such as new door panels and arm rests. How are the quality of these items? Has anyone found any of these to be cobby reproductions?

You have to watch people who say they have the CORRECT ones because I have seen people claim they have them and they are not right.Did you actually buy these Cars ones Ray?I would be intersted to know if you have seen them in person because i am very doubtful they are right....

I called CARS and they told me they did not have any more and would not be getting more in. Any other ideas?

I may get smacked for this one. :spank: Because CARS will not have these any more what do you all think about putting bases and pads from a 66 impala in until I can find the correct pads and bases at the bone yard?

I do not know what color your interior is but I have this one black one that has a couple small cracks at the top edge and these are interchangeable from side to side so should fit either. You can have it for free if it is something you might be able to use.I do not have any good bases though,The pads are tough to come by even in the condition of this one.The sides and bottom are real good shape. If you need it it would be a start and maybe throw 5 bucks my way for shipping it.......Bruce

Oh as far as using the chevy ones,it would not bother me to do so as long as they looked like they belonged there and looke nice. There have been a few times I told myself I should just buy a chevy so a guy would atleast have some aftermarket parts support but I carry on though..........

    Bruce,

I guess if we wanted to be like everone else we would have bought chevy's. Thanks for the offer on the pad. I'm planning on driving the hundred miles to the closest bone yard that has older cars in it this weekend. The Impala pad is thin like what you would find in a 67 Le Sabre full chrome base and 14" long. I'm just trying to keep some the car "stock" inside.

64-67 arm rest bases are now reproduced. Also looks like a better quality arm rest pad is also now made.

    Check it out:
