I can't seem to find the stuff anymore. Cars is all out and the ROA doesn't have any listings for it. I have one car with a good set in the trunk, so do any of you know where I can buy the paper so I can use the good original one for a pattern and make my own??

An ROA member used to sell them, I got a set from him, his name was Lou Adzima roa#145 (619)583-0034...........I got that number from an old issue of the riview so it may no longer be in service. :bglasses:

Thanks Joe. I have looked through the old ROA's too, but never found it. I will give him a shout.

Joe, I called that number and got a woman who couldn't spell Buick. I hate it, but that guy is long gone. Wonder where I could buy the paper so I could make it myself?

All that stuff is is thick cardboard............you could probably find some sheets at a craft store and after cutting it out size, and spray paint it silver or black. I just covered mine with that grey felt that Cars sells for a million dollars a yard:rolleyes: .........I sprayed it with adhesive first to hold the felt in place.

The ones he sold were die cut, and you had to remove them from the square sheet he shipped them in. The folds were pre-stamped into the material so all you had to do was bend them into shape. I think you could do that if you marked the line on the material and pinched it between 2 pieces of angle iron and bent it. I've often thought of making some from steel, but the bends might be tricky. :bglasses:
