A good deal? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6142&item=4507039959&rd=1
He called it a grand sport....... :af: ..... :spank: From what I can see, it has afftermarket a/c. It also has the cheep interior, which is in poor condition. The snorkel is broken off the chrome air cleaner, and it has a real bad rust problem. Especially around the trunk area. I can tell you from experience that's hard to fix right. I'll bet the cowl under the windshield id also pretty bad. Also, it's a good bet the core support is wiped out under the battery, judging by the rusted out l/f fender. I think it would need a lot of work to get into shape, and the fact the car was hacked up to put the aftermarket a/c in makes this something I would stay away from unless you plan on using it as a parts car. It also appears to be not very well optioned. I'm on a dial up and I didn't get all the photos, I've seen enough..........it brings back memories of what I went through getting mine into shape. Hold out for that rust free Texas or Arizona car, these cars go cheap even in good shape. :bglasses:
I agree for the most part with what Joe pointed out. Though, I would hope it can be saved and not just parted out. You would definately want to take a close look at it in person first before bidding. It looks like that AC unit has been leaking water on the tranny hump. Rusty floors? Has the same plain Jane interior mine did, with exception that mine had buckets and full length console.
One more thing I noticed, he's talking about a "lighter wildcat 445" engine........these were only available with the 465. If you scroll down his documentation photos, he has a clip from somewhere describing the 401 motor. It must be an owners manual from a different model or something. That's not the original motor and my guess it that it has 143,000 miles not 43,000 as he claims. I also forgot to mention the wheels are not correct, they appear to be from a later model. :bglasses:
