It's an early carbed turbo, I wonder if an injected setup -lots more power- would fit under that hood.
Weren't the 911 engines air cooled? I wonder how he fit a radiator in behind that front air dam. This must be a bear to drive, the 911 always had a front to rear weight problem, this made them hard to control in a corner because it went from controlled to oversteer in a heartbeat. Add to that the extra weight and power of the buick, toss on a little turbo lag and this thing would provide some nasty surprises mid corner. Dont get me wrong, I'd love to have it, but I bet it would take some serious skill to control.
I have seen those early cars with chevy v8s in them, the radiator was in the front with some long tubing running to the back. I don't think the Buick V6 would be much of a weight difference with the air cooled six it replaced. But a injected intercooled one would be BETTER.
