'66 buick something - GS clone (4 spd) - now with pics

(updated with better pictures and more info)

    Howdy

I'm a pontiac man, but I found a buick locally that i want the rear end out of to upgrade to a posi in my own

    I half-arsedly ran the VIN # and i think it came back as a '66 2 door post, 6 cylinder - i think?
has a good running 4 bolt main 350 chevy in it - 750 double pumper, edelbrock manifold (supposedly recently rebuilt - you know how that is) - headers, glass packs...etc
    turbo 350
but the owner supposedly has the original z-bar and clutch pedals

Has the frame mount for the z-bar to make it a 4spd again, and you can see where the clutch rod used to go through the firewall

anyways, like i said - i mainly just want the rear
body is better than most ohio cars

Has what i think is a '67 GS hood on it that looked decent - has surface rust and small dents on the front nose - but has NO ROT - sandblast and it'd be almost perfect (not even rot around the bolts to the hood hinges)

car has new floor pans installed front and back - trunk still needs done but includes a new goodmarket trunk pan set and braces (including these with the car - it's the expensive kit with the trunk braces and not merely the 3 pans, i believe)
also has new black chevelle '66 door panels - front and back (i may keep these)
interior is a split bench seat with headrests - not sure what was original

Looks mostly if not all complete, has the 'ole buick rally's on it, i think he said he has 5 of the buick rally's

trunk pan set is nearly $200 via ebay alone
the 350 motor is probably worth 400 or 500? (runs good, i drove it today)
i figure the GS hood is worth a decent penny too

you couldd sell these 3 items and have the car nearly free

900 for everything (minus the rear end that i want)?
(could easily drop off $ if you don't want the trunk kit or door panels or hood - will sell via ebay)

i know very little about buicks - not even enough to say what year the GS hood is and if it's worth much

Frame on the car appears to be VERY nice - i was looking in the typical trouble spots for pontiacs - obviously floor pans are very nice too

I'm keeping a carpet that comes with the car and the chevelle door panels, unless that's critical to you (since they're not buick anyways), and will probably keep the z-bar if he ever finds it

car runs/drives/stops and is dependable (needs a smaller carb than the 750 to be a daily driver)

if i don't sell it together, i'll probably start to part it out
depends how easy this is on me

anyone near ohio interested? PM me
or shoot me a phone # and we'll talk - you can educate me a little if ya would

(it's rainy in ohio, and rust is coming through the primer making it rather ugly)
