66 / 67 Riviera vacuum trunk release

    FYI there should be a vacuum tank/can that goes with the trunk release option. It would be good to include that if you have it. With this can the trunk release will operate a small number of times with the engine off.

    Thanks for the tip, yes I can include it with the other parts, soon as I dig it out, it's sandwiched in beside the coffee can one for the power locks.

    Would this set up fits a 68 Wildcat? Problem might be the length of the rod?

    The '68 parts manual shows two different part numbers for the vacumm release unit. 50-60-8000 #4547284, 9000 #4845199.
    Most of the other components are the same, if this helps any. :Do No:

    Thanks Randy... I more or less figured there would be a difference between BC and E bodies.
    Since I want to add a trunk release I need the whole set up to fit....I will be on the lookout for a complete B or C set up.

    I can't believe that this hasn't sold, I'd get it but my 69 came with it and I have a spare already I got from the salvage yard
