I'm going to post this in the "pay it forward' section tomorrow, but figured I'd post here first -

I scored a low mileage 66 401 and ST400, pulled out of a crashed Wildcat in the 80's (?) and stored well. It came fully dressed, so there's probably some stuff that people could use - all free for the cost of shipping.

two exhaust manifolds with good studs
    Rochester 4GC P/N 7046040
Power Steering pump with high pressure hose and all brackets
    non A/C alternator brackets complete
    Large diameter water pump pulley
    two belt crank pulley
throttle position sensor for switch pitch trans
    Starter

I'm keeping the oil pan, valve covers and distributor to use to store my other block....there may be other odds and ends that I'm not thinking of, so dont be afraid to ask.

Be advised that my work and travel schedule will probably allow me to box and ship one item a week.....if you call it it's yours, but you might wait a little while...

I'd love the alternator bracket, associated hardware, and bolts. Shipping would be to zip code 55109. Please let me know the total and how you'd like payment.

It's yours - please be patient, as i'm not an experienced shipper...I'll let you know shipping costs as soon as I can figure out if I can use a standard USPS shiping box or not.

    Thanks, RT

probably the best score BTW - I've seen too many non -A/C cars in magazines running A/C brackets!

Sorry - I'm in Hartford CT.

65 SkyHT - I will eventually give the manifold away (it would make a great "Doc Mod" spare), right now it's keeping crap out of the cylnders. Check with me next spring, which is when I'lll probably start building the new engine.

Lapham - The Switch is yours
Ponch - the brackets are yours - do you want the actual pump? It's a little beat up but clean inside.

6wildcat5 - sorry, but the stuff you mentioned is pretty much all the stuff I'm keeping - I bought this motor and trans to race in my 65, while taking out the numbers matching motor and trans and shelving it (and not blowing it up!)

I bought the 73 out of the Mojave desert this spring, and I swear I will never buy another northeast car again - I had no idea cars out there were that nice!

Tom - the pulleys are yours, but I want to keep the cover on this motor...in fact, I'd like to talk to you about the build...when and where is a good time to talk to you for a few minutes?

Oh well, can't blame a guy for trying... I'll take the two exhaust manifolds if no one else lays claim for em.... shipped up to zip 01463

side note... I'm with ya on never buying a N.E. car again..... Lots a great cars from the High Dessert of Eastern Montana and Western South Dakota (never used road salt until the 80's) - then all the way down thru the lower South West.... I'm in classic car heaven....

    Hi Rhett,
Could use the carb and the power steering pump and hoses. Dont need the brackets. You are a generous person! PM me if you need anything I may have. Thanks!

If you're not keeping the flex plate for your race motor, put me first in line for it.

    Thanks,
