    Helleo all,
I did a search on the Scarebird conversion here , What I ws looking for was an answer on The master Cyclinder. Why I was looking is I am finally getting around to replacing my front drums to disc brakes using the Scarebird conversion kit. My question is the stock Master cyclinder big enough to work. I have the concern that the reseivior in the stock one in my 65 Wildcat not having enough fluid, since Disc brakes use a little more fluid when stopping the car. That being said if I were to have to get a different one what one would I use? Would it be from a Rivera a few years newer or from the same line like a LaSarbe or Wildcat from the 70's? I am close to making the car road worthy. I have been away for so please forgive me for not keeping in touch.

You will need a disc/drum master cylinder and matching proportioning valve or an aftermarket adjustable proportioning valve. Does the Scarebird site offer system details for your application?

No They say that people use the same master cyclinder BUT be careful due to the amount of fluid that is used to move the pads on the disc brakes. Would a later model MC work from maybe a 70 Riv?

I was wondering if I could use a Master Cyclinder and booster from a later GM Full size car? I know I will need to use a Port Valve but due to the amount of fluid needed to work the disc brakes I would feel a lot better knowing that I had enough fluid to operate the brakes to their fullest! I don't want to have a "WOW THAT WAS CLOSE" momnent:shock:
Has anyone else used the scarebird system? If so what set up did you use?
