At idle my Nailhead runs great, but won't shift out of first gear goin down the road. I have checked and rechecked for vacum leaks and found none.

Admittedly I am uneducated in the realm of classic cars & carbureted engines and have no clue as to what is causing the problem.

Any suggestion or recommendations as to what to check, or do...?

    Thx!

check the vacum hose from the intake to the module on the passenger side of the tranny. the module it self could be bad too

Problem solved: You were correct GSGTX, the vacum hose from the intake line to the trans module was torn where it connects to the module. Replaced it with a better line... She's shifting thru all gears now. Thx!

Good job, I like it when results- especially good ones are reported!
