Can someone please help here. I don't have stock wheels on my car and would like to put the stock rally wheels on. What size are the wheels that fit on my car? Do you usually run a deeper wheel in the back and a narrower one in the front? What size tires will fit in the wells without rubbing? What would be a proper tire to run to make it look stock from the factory? What did they come off the factory floor with? Also any suggestions on where I can find rally wheels with the center caps? Thanks, Steve
this is what i have on my 65 special 84 buick regal rallys 14x6 on front with 215/70r14s (more offset then early) 77 buick regal rallys 15x7 on rear with 255/60r15s stock offset
Looks good, are these the same as the rallys that would have come on the car? Any differences from the original rally wheels vs these?
Wheels & Tires I removed the stock wheels from mine..(no, they aren't for sale ) and put 15" all around. Tires are 235/60/15NR Red Line Radials. I had all the springs/shocks replaced as I assumed they were original and some Einstein had put spacers in the springs...it was "hanging" pretty bad. I wanted my car "up on it's toes" and a very slight high in the rear. That's 60's!! Reproduction wheels & caps: http://www.wheelvintiques.com Tires: http://www.widewhitewalltires.com
the offset is on the 14 inch rims is atleast 1 in farther outboard (3 1/2) i dont think 15 in rims came on the 65s but the offset is about the same as the stock 14s (4 1/2)
