Guys, What is the diameter of the axle tube in the 65 Skylarks please? Standard car (had a V6 in it, non posi, nothing special). The axle is at my buddy's at the moment having a posi in it and I want to order a rear sway bar that clamps to the axle tubes and the frame (not the LCAs). Any advice on good/ inexpensive rear sway bars that bolt to the axle and frame instead of the LCAs? BTW. I was looking at Hotchkiss and Spohn. regards, Nick
Nick, I just checked a 64 Cutlass rear and one from a 67 Buick Sportwagon. Both have 3" tubes. The rear sway bar offered by HRpartsNstuff has been recommended by several on this site, especiially those who drag race their cars. Read up on the bar here: http://www.hrpartsandstuff.com/
