well i finally got my console and a good 2 speed floor shifter. now the only thing i need is the linkage that goes from the bottom of the shifter to the tranny and the bracket on the manual valve on the tranny. please p.m. me if you have a set up to sell. thanks, paul c.
i got the console bracket that i needed, i got the correct 65 shifter that i learned that the front of the console mounts to. now all i need is the shifter linkage that goes from the shifter to the tranny.
yes the Rod is the same as 66 as long as the 66 has the original 2 speed shifter assy.. 67 is also the same if the donating car was a 2 speed.
I pulled a shifter and console out of a 66 a few months back, but couldn't get the rod out at that time. It's in a wrecking yard a few hours away from me here, but I hope to get back there in the next month or so. Keep me posted on here if you find one or not. If not, I will try to get it next time I am back there. Carl
