I’m working on a 65 Skylark 2 door “post” car, the drivers window glass keeps falling off the regulator.,. What secures the glass to the regulator? Looks like it just sits on top of 2 little rollers... I checked OPGI website, but that really didn’t help...Hopefully someone will know, otherwise I’ll be pulling the passenger door panel off ....

Looks like maybe busted/rusted spot welds on roller channel to glass mount channel. Let me know how this goess; Ill be looking into my '64 post this winter with new trim etc... ws

Its always scary once than inner panel is off. Every bump in the steel and every screw does something; dont let it intimidate you. ws

I had this problem on my Special Wagon- the piece the glass is attached to on the bottom rusted away- for years i just rolled up the window with the rollers catching the bottom of the glass.
got it fixed with a used channel from a 4-door.

Found the piece all rusted laying on the back seat. I happened to have a piece of scrap metal, an fence rail, cut it, tacked the roller track to it, threw it in, DONE... Except the door panel..
