65 Riviera GS Wanted

Hello,

New to forum, frequent visitor.

I am looking for a MINT 65 Riviera GS (or a 2 x 4) Riviera. Must have a/c. Would consider some slight modifications, and would consider a 64 with 2 x 4's if original.

Thank you for any leads. Prefer private owner-seen the ads all over e-bay, collect trader etc.

I've an acquaintance (MA) that mentioned he is looking to move his loaded 65GS. Turquoise Mist, Vinyl Top,A/C, PW, PS, I think?? PVW. Only mod is leather interior but custom made to factory specs.Just had the road wheels rechromed. 24K. If interested, PM me your info I will relay it to him. Steve

What's wrong with the car having a vinyl top? It was a factory option in 65.

 

Nothing wrong, I've had many cars with them just personal preference, prefer a Riv without.

My,sister and brother inlaw are trying to sell their 64 riv. it has the
425 2x4's. $8250

a/c , pw,ps,org air breather,org buick script finned valve covers

Really trying to geta 65, had a 64 with 2 x 4, just like the clamshells & tranny of a 65.

1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport for sale

I am also looking for a 1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport. Have looked at ebay, collectorcartrader, etc, etc. I see that you would like to find a Riv without a vinyl top. Here is one I came across in my search, but it is not the right color for me:

I hope to find a car in California or Arizona so that the costs of flying to look at a car, as well as shipping it home won't eat into my budget. Maybe you could let me know if you come across anything in your search (I don't mind a vinyl top). Needs to have a/c.
