    Hello
I am looking to replace the missing posi rear end in my gs. Mine got lost in a botched resto:(
I have a 65 riviera gs that came with a 3.42. needing a posi rear end. Might be intrested in a higher geared one. I am in oregon.
Any info where to locate one would be apperiecated.
    Thanks Yvonne

Good luck, that is a pretty desirable component as most of the non-GS posis like mine in my '64 are 3.23's. It won't be cheap either.

    looking for 342 rear end

    Thanks guys for the replies.
I tried the phone number and it sounded like a fax. So I e mailed him.
I know I will be lucky to find that rear end. It has taken me 5 months to find the idle adjustment screw for back carb. Sad thing is I took in a running car and get it back in pieces and still finding stuff missing:( I have had to find a gas tank, heater core cover, ac bracket for finned valve covers, fuel fittings for carbs and linkage, oil cap. Along with have to have motor and carbs redone. Who know what I have for tranny??
Any leads on parts cars or parts would be greatly appericated.

join the ROA if you haven't already, they generally have a good selection of parts in the classified sections in the back of the Riview as well as the reputable dealers.
