Not mine, i'm not sure what it's off of. Dual quad set-up. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-1966-B...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c1afd7365
Not know muching about old GM parts I like to post them here when I see them to help people out (if they're a good deal!) or learn a little bit about what they are (such as this one )
316 is for a '65/'66. I bought a DQ a few years ago with working but incorrect carbs for $300 or so. Yes, dreaming....
Hi, Yeah that manifold has been posted for at least a year, you would think he would watch the other ones that are on Ebay and by the way sell for much cheaper, only way I could think that would be worth 650 would be if it were a factory experimental AL one and even then you only save weight from what I have read Regards,
I think the only way you are going to see them get any cheaper is if the US economy continues to tank and people continue to sell off non essential items. Otherwise, they just aren't making them anymore. There are less and less people willing to part with some of this stuff as it gets rarer. Prices will go higher as availability drops. The big thing people forget is that the intake is only the beginning. You need the correct carbs, the kick down switch (depending on year and type of trans), the linkage, the fuel lines and a big thing is the correct distributor. I know you can "get away" with a '63 distributor but it is not the same. I currently have 3 painfully collected complete sets and I know I won't be parting with any of it any time soon, in fact I may snap any extra stuff I can find just in case. believe me, I am not the only person that feels this way so expect to see the prices rise. Dreaming on a price of $650 for a vintage dual quad intake for a an obscure nailhead engine?... maybe today....... but not tomorrow. :dollar:
