Am I dumb or what? ou: I can not find the engine code on a 65 GS with a 401ci I am buying. It is supposed to be numbers matching,but I can not find the "LR" code anywhere. This car was restored by John Meyer a BCA member who live in Wisconsin. Anyone know of him? Thanks, Bruce
Bruce did you check right on the right side of the water pump. It should be stamped into the top of the block. At least mine is.
