I was in a yard today and pulled a 4 spd console/tach out of a 69 GS. I think it was a big block car. The engine,tranny,fenders and stuff was gone. It still had the pedals,z bar, frame bracket, and a rod still attached to the z bar. I dont know if they are different for the 350 car. The trim tag started with 44637. Is this stuff worth buying? I think the firewall boot steering shaft parts were on the floor but it was getting dark and cold out. I also found a 65 Skylark that had the z bar and pedals but no tranny so I dont know if it is worth taking. It was a floor shift car. and then there was a 68 3 on the tree GS350 and I dont know it any of that stuff is worth grabbing? I might stop by there on Monday again. Thanks
I would grab it if you can. The '65 stuff is hard to find, I believe. I may be interested in the frame bracket from the '68 or '69. I seem to be having an issue with the aftermarket one I bought. See my thread posted yesterday. Tom
