Looking for the 4-speed shifter stick from a 65-67 GS,i only need the chrome stick with the ball and T handle on it. Thanks
George, I thought that early big Chev was the same. Not sure what year. I bought a 67 factory shifter this year at a swap meet and the seller gave me a "T" handle that he said was from a Chev. I have not checked it out in detail but seem to look the same as the one on my 66. Bill
No just information on what may fit. Need this one for my 67vert if I put the factory shifter back. Thanks Bill
Take a look at the repo Chevelle shifter handles. Vendors like Ground Up (www.ss396.com) and Lutty's (www.luttyschevy.com) have them listed in their catalogs for around $60. I've been told they are the same, but I personally haven't compared them yet.
Walt,i dont think the bends of the shifter stick are the same, the console equipped chevelle shifter was almost straight up,the bench seat style is too curvy to make up for the bench seat. Thanks
shifter. . George. . I have a buddy who has an original 67 SS Nova shifter. .it really appears to be the same as our beloved GS shifters . . . I also have the shifter you are looking for. .(SORRY N/F/S. .its for my 65 GS! :af: ) however. . give me time and I'll dig out my restored shifter and take it over and do a comparison and perhaps grab a few digital pix while I''m at it. Please tell me you're NOT in a hurry!!! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
You bought one on ebay, or did that fall thru? I need another one, too. I'll do some comparisons between my original and the chev repos out there. Carlisle is only a few weeks away
Yea Walt i recently bought one off ebay but i need another one for my other conv`t.you need one for your 66 or 65? Thanks
2x4 setup AND shifter Hi Walt! Hope you rec'd the 2X4 pix I just sent! I will also send you a comparison of shifter pix I researched for George. Al,i dont know if you`re getting my PM`s or not but i PM`d you twice without a response?do you want to sell it or not? Thanks
Yes :bglasses:  I could use 1 complete shifter assembly (to replace the Hurst), and a stick for the '65(it was missing). I wonder how the stock shifter works compared to the Hurst?
