The mini-starters sold by Tom Telesco are wonderful! I put one on my 66 Skylark GS and love it. The problem is getting the old starter off. You need to do the job on a lift and and need to remove the motor mount bolts and jack up the engine, it is also much easier if you remove the exhaust manifold. But it is worthe the effort! Steve
