Not having good luck with the current externally regulated alt. What's a good way to go? I'm leaning towards an SI12, so long as you guys help me with the wiring changes. CS-series pieces seem like a huge jump in price; someone convince me of the benefits. There's not much in the way of electrical demands: 300-4V, points for now, hot air choke, non-air, aftermarket stereo (no amp) Thanks Loren
I have a 12 SI built by Jamie right here on the V8 board. That is plenty for you. See here, http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?89861-hi-out-put-1-wire-delco-alternators-w-pics See here for the wiring which is easy, http://www.buickperformanceclub.com/alternat.htm
