    Wow, $66 that's pretty sad.

Was it a driver? Mine was a one family owned car. Sat in a barn for 18 or so years. 59k on it a purchase. 64.4k on it now. I didn't have to do too much to her to get on the street. I think it was tires, 1 bulb, and new battery. At first it was going to be a engine donor for my '64 Riv. It was so nice and clean, there was no way I was going to cut her up. Same deal with my '66 225. Now I drive it too. My 2 Rivs are still not running.

I originally bought this 4 door for it's motor too, it had about 80k on it. I had a '65 Wildcat 2dr (my first Buick) with a worn out engine. This was about 5 years ago. The guy I got the '64 from had the transmission rebuilt and put it in himself. He couldn't figure out why it was making a clunking noise and never drove it again. I bought it for what he was asking and drove it home 3 blocks. Turns out he hadn't bolted the carrier bearing support back to the frame. Simple fix and put the '64 back on the road, drove it for awhile then parked it. I had the motor freshened up and gave it to my younger brother for his first car. He drove it for about 2 years then decided to get a BMW so gave the car back to me. I have plenty of other cars to keep me busy and no time for the '64. Hopefully someone can use it, maybe a motor for your Riv? Should I part it out if it doesn't sell?

I lucked out and bought a '65 Electra sedan with Scott (ldposse). I got the eng/trans and he got the body parts. Then, my dad bought me a '64 riv parts car with a lot of options, and a great black interior. That's what I'm going to use. I wouldn't part it out. Just lower your price so someone has a nice driver.

I see the winner is a Buick man. I hope he doesn't use it for parts. My car gets questions and turns heads every day she's out. Even with the crappy orig. paint! It's nice to be noticed. Especially when they see the taillights!

I talked to him on the phone and it doesn't sound like he intends on using it for parts (I'm wishing I would have:( ). Maybe he won't come get it, then I can keep it?

Seller's remorse? Why would you have used it for parts? Seems like too good a car for that. They're too much fun. Besides, I'd rather feed one, than to have a car payment.

I was going to just give it away, like the 65 Riv GS shell I had(the junk yard mane gave me $35 and Towed it away....WHAT A BARGAIN!!!...But I figured I'd get a few extra dollars for the new tires that were on her...SO $66 and A happy new owner...I was glad it was going to someone who wanted to save her, and take it off my hands at the same time...Well Hopefully it's now back on the road...Later fellas

I could use the motor. It will cost me nearly $1500 to build my next nailhead.
