I'm not a big fan of the early to mid 60's Buicks but that one is really nice. Something I would actually own if I was in the market.

Were spotlights a thing back then? Who outside of the cops would need something like that?

Yes, spot lights were very common in more rural areas and farm country ... for obvious reason of less lights everywhere.

Around here in the big city, spotlights were a very popular accessory especially amongst the gangster wannabes.

That’s a nice car, I wonder if he’d trade for bug

Well, you could buy the Wildcat and park the bug in the trunk.

If the Bug was a pre-58 Type 1, I'd be interested in trading my Wildcat off for it.
The spotlights don't do it for me, and if it was my car they'd disappear. My take on them is that they're like the Continental Kit was to 50's cars, every wannabe Doo-wopper figures a 60's vintage sled had spotlights on it. Truth is very few had them, at least around here.

Not a fan of the spots on that either, but I could over look them...not a pre 58 here but a clean 72 standard with a Scat 1915 and Mofoco performance trans... incase the guy with that ‘64 cat is looking
