One thing that no one seems to get 'right' on a '64 Wildcat is the wheels. They seem to be the correct style but I think they should be painted silver/gray - not black.

Also, the vertical bars in the grill look odd to me. I had to go out and take a close look at mine to see if they were even there. They are but they are painted black so you can't see them. I'm assuming that mine is correct - does anyone know for sure?

Chris, I agree, wrong grille, maybe an Electra grille? Something funky done to the tri shield too.

Wheels look to be correct 64, but like you said, wrong color.

A bit of interior customization too, painted console, radio bezel, custom seat inserts.

The water manifold has the lifting loop, I thought that is a 66 item? Does not say if it is a KX code..

It is a modified Wildcat grille, the Electra and LeSabre are very different. The grille screens behind the center bar were originally painted black except for the leading edges of the horizontal ribs. The vertical parts almost disappear on an original grill. Whatever they did--remove paint from existing vertical ribs or add pieces--gives the wrong look.

The tri-shield emblem originally had translucent plastic inserts, not painted.

That "Pimp My Ride" interior has to go!
