Hello from Europe! My '64 Skylark has it's original (8.2" I believe?) rear. Ratio is also original 2.78 and now I would like to change it. 3.08 or 3.23 would be nice. Is it possible to find those ratios? Should I change whole rear instead?

It is possible to find those ratios...But in Europe??? Man that is got to be tough. I think I have a set of 3.08. The 8.2 gears are not cheap new or used. We can retro fit a set of chevy 8.2 gears into that housing also. All you would need is a different yoke with a sleeve that I sell pressed onto it. then you can use any 8.2 chevy rear gear too that would help widen the search area. Jim
