Hi a friend of mine is have brake issues no one can figure it out. 6 years ago he upgraded to power brakes and has had trouble with them being very sensetive. He's replaced the master cylinder and booster three times now. Also had a propotioning valve put on and still they are not right. It seems like all four wheels lock up when you just touch the pedal. Any ideas?? His mechanic is out of ideas.
    Thanks Bruce

If they've always been sensitive it sounds like he has the wrong size master cylinder. Is he sure he has the correct setup?

Did he move the break pedal rod up to the power hole for less mechanical leverage?

One other thing that could be an use..... If it's one of the a/m gold looking proportioning valve inside may not be in the correct position for front to be the majority. You. An check it by taking the valve out and manually move with a screwdriver from the front or back hole.

I've had issues in the past with the rod between the master and booster being too long. Buying mismatched parts from different vendors can cause issues.
