I put new coils all the way around and got the springs from Car Quest. I like the front springs but the backs are Cargo coils and I wouldn't use them again. I will pull them out next spring. The front springs cost me 65 and the rears were 90. If you need the front part number I can try to find them. I also have the rear spring part number that I will use to replace the Cargo coils.

    Thanks topless 64,
Auto Zone has them for about the same total cost you mentioned. Is there anything special I should look for?

In the rear springs just make sure the top end of the spring is in the notch and the rubber part stays on.
The height of my new front spring was about 1/2 inch higher than the old and work well. The rear Cargo Coils were about 2-3 inches taller and have my shocks almost fully extended. I replaced my shocks and used the Auto Zone shock but I would use Monroes if I could do it over again. I used the HD shocks from Gaberial.

The front of your boot should slide in a rail attached to the back of the rear seat. My rear seat doesn't have it becasue someone recovered the seats and use velcro and snaps screwed into the chrome pinch weld in the back. I need to find new chrome to use the original boot.

Have fun and be careful pulling the front springs when you tap the ball joint out. Check the sway bars bushing when you are inder there also.

    Ed,
Thanks for the advice. I have a piece that appears to be for the boot to slide into however it was laying in the trunk, wasn't sure were it went. It has old velcro on it, I'll see if it fits there.
    Thanks again
    Russ
