    Hi,
What did you use to connect the pump to the steering box. I'm using a aluminum bracket off a 69 430 and a 71 pump. The pump sits about 2" above the steering box. Not a lot of room for hoses. I used a set off a 73 Century 350 but not 100% happy with the results.

That's a tough go based on what I know. The real answer is to find 67-up GS pump brackets, any year will work (I know, small consolation). The GS pump sits higher than with any of the other brackets except some ugly ones from the mid 70's.

i am using the early aluminum brackets off a 68 electra if i remember correctly , i tried several different pumps and couldn't find anything that worked very well clearance wise. The pump body is very clese to the steering box and there is very little clearace flr the radius on the hose. I have heard the best solution is the 67 GS bracket but i am getting by with the limited clearance i have.

Any GS bracket from 67-72 will work. :) I think someone was going to repro them?

    Hi, thanks for the input
Oh boy trying to find GS brackets around here is going to be impossible. I might try my patience and put the pump off the 73 Century on, at least the return hose goes underneath the pump. Right now I have about 1/4" clearence.

yeah, I was stuck with that for a while, I ended up bending one of the hard lines where it came out of the box to the point of almost kinking right at the fitting and I think it may have still rubbed. not pretty.

Try an ad in parts wanted here...

Isnt the 67 340 bracket the same?

I don't think so, but don't know for a fact. I do know the 300 one isn't, and neither is the 350; I've tried them both.

You can swap 350 pullies and alt bracket on them, both of which are much easier to find without the A/C items, and the 350 pulleys work as an underdrive system too. I think you might have to shim for a little bit of mis-alignment if you use power steering with this setup.
