The rear turn signals on my Riv work when the headlights are not on, when I turn the headlights on the rear signals don't work. All other lights are fine and front signals work. I am not sure how to start checking this. If it's any help, I do not have my backup lights connected as I am replacing the bumper. Tail lights are bright. Thanks in advance for any tips! Slim
Do you know if your dual filament bulbs were replaced with single filament bulbs? If you look on the bottom of the bulb, it should have two electric contacts for a dual element. It may be something else, but you might want to give that a check.
Thanks for your reply. I found the problem and as things sometimes go I was the cause of it. The sockets were replaced at one time and when I had the back bumper off, etc I decided to check and cleanup all the wiring. What I did was connect the two wires opposite each other (50/50 chance) so they would work only without the headlights off. Now they work perfectly at all times. I felt so dumb about this I almost was not going to reply! Slim
