Ahh the ultra rare 64 GS! Or ultra rare A body nailhead 4 speed at all! Man that thing is a steal. Could take it to the auction and get the big bucks with this one! And to make it better, it's got the ultra rare front distributor on this nailhead!
Are you insane?!?!?!?!? its a 1 of 13 64 GS!!!!! They are so rare Buick never bothered to advertise them... Seriously though people are clueless.
I don't care what people do with their cars. After all, it's their money and their car. In this case I would bet that the guy doesn't really know what he has and probably heard some stupid 'that car is super rare' story from another person without a clue. I ran into a guy at the track a few years ago who told me he had a car just like mine only he made a big deal out of saying it was "an original 401, 4 speed car". "A Gran Sport?", I asked. Of course his answer was a proud "Yes". Said it even had the same top as mine but he removed the side moldings and filled in the holes. At this point I knew he was full of baloney but I went along with it. When I finally saw the car at a cruise night about a year later I found that it was a `64. I couldn't help myself and pointed out "You do realize that Buick didn't build a Gran sport in `64, don't you?" He walked away and wouldn't talk to me anymore. A people really should be more careful who they try to bullsh*t. Bill
