I can't begin to count the number of "nice" cars, or "a little rust" that I've looked at West of the Cascades that were so bad that the only reason I got out of the truck was to tell them what an a$$ they were for making me drive hours to show me a POS like that.
I didn't look at that one, but if I could spare the cash I would be there in the morning. I've looked at a ton of them. You've probably seen the 66 on the Portland Craigslist. He wanted $2000 when I saw it and the only good thing about it was the seats. Now he wants $3000! I've looked at a bunch of rusted out junk from 65 to 71 around here and more often than not it turns out to be so bad that I don't even have to hear them run. They all sound good in the add.

I think he bought that 66 off Ebay, it's been for sale for over a year now and even a blind guy can tell it's a roach. he's stuck with that POS unless he drops the price waaaay down
I took a look at it when it was $2000 and laughed at it. What a hunk of junk. The rust repairs and dent removal would be more than the value of the car. I think He figures that if it's a $3000 dollar car he'll bring more sophisticated buyers to the table!
