Well, I think I'm looking for a change here. I thought I'd be able to get the body work and otehr stuff done on the GS over this winter but its just not going to happen. I am looking for a red/blue/black 64 to 67 a-body in "done" condition. Doesn't need to be a show car or a full frame off resto but a nice, reliable, good running car that I can take to local shows and cruise-ins and have fun with. I actually prefer a non original car or maybe even one that has been modified a little (a 350 or turbo 6 swap would be ideal, but I can't be too picky). Can also be a GS, Skylark, Convertable, etc... I'm not really picky there. I'd prefer to get a nicer post Skylark than a sort of nice convertable. Car must be solid/no/very little rust. I really just want a "finished" car that I can slowly make my own but have no worries about driving it in the mean time. The GS is that for the most part, but its too solid to let sit here and not get the restoration it deserves. I also would be very interested in a '67-68 only 4 speed Cougar. Options don't matter and I prefer the 289. Must also be red/blue/black. This is pending the sale of my 1970 GS. There are two potentially interested candidates and if they both pass it will be for sale on the board. I'd really like to sell the old car and get the new car before cruising season is over (November). My budget is in the 10,000 dollar range. Thanks, Eric
Already have one strong lead, thanks :TU: I also want to mention if the first two in line on my GS decide to pass, I am up for trades of some sort as well. Oh, and Silver/grey also works. Just no greens, golds, browns.
My car, this is a link to the ended ebay auction. Price is firm, I know it is more than you want to spend, but it is a done car needing nothing, I fixed the speedo and fuel gauge. dadphelps@yahoo.com,,,,,,,,,,740-533-0240,,,Ironton OH 45638 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...m=270010981435&ih=017&sspagename=STRK:MEUS:IT
ragtops: My god! That is an absolutely beautiful car. Unfortunately, my current financial situation doesn't allow me to spend more than 10,000. If the car were 11,500... or something in there, I'd probably be able to beg borrow or steal it... but 5,000 is a bit harder to swallow. . That would have to be the absolute perfect car for me - v8, 4 speed, black on black... everything I've always wanted. I simply cannot afford it at this time. That is a very good price for the car and anyless would be a steal. Good luck with your sale and thank you very much for posting. I just can't swing the extra 5000 (over what I hope to sale my 70 GS for). Thanks, Eric

I have a 1965 Skylark that is in e.c. The only thing is that is Champagne with a black vinyl top. I can email pictures to you if you are interested. It is lowered in the front which gives it a nice rake. You can find it in the cars for sale forum. email jkoch960@columbus.rr.com
D. THanks for your offer but I just can't do another brown car. I like to see them in photos but for some reason they dont suit me in my driveway. My first car was Desert Gold and I loved it then but not quite what I'm looking for this time. If you want me to post photos in the for sale thread, I'd be more than happy to for you. ericsabo@gmail.com Frank: I sent you a PM back with a ton of details, might be very interested depending on your car :TU: Let me know.

http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/8/1/85844481.htm Might be worth a look since it is fairly local
or this one, also in NY 1964 BUICK SPECIAL, all original, excellent condition, white with red top & interior, power top, $7995, 716-200-9001
That 64 looks to be a convertible. Where did you find the 64? Appears to be in western NY, anywhere from Buffallo to the PA border. For 2200 bucks I may just call on that green one. Looks to be a bit rougher than I wanted but hey, maybe I could reduce the price on my Gs, sell it, and use whats left after the purchase to fix that one up. Hmm.... Thanks for the leads, Chris!
64 Skylark Converible 4-spd Sorry, I have been away from my PC since the middle of September. My Skylark came from California. SN 3K3030329, means it was made in Fremont, CA. See pictures at www.photos.yahoo.com/karlde Karl
Thanks Karl. IIRC It was just out of my budget, but it is quite a good looking car. For everyone else, I am done looking... will probably just sell mine and save up some more so I can get what will work for me. Ultimately, it may be more wise for me to get a pickup (so it has a use besides just as a toy)... one that I dont mind working with (but that isn't newer than 1973). Same rules apply, otherwise the GMC in the for sale section would be perfect... Thanks everyone for all of the leads and help,
