I bought an aluminum intake for my 300 a while back not knowing at the time it wouldn't work right without some modifications, so I'm looking to trade it for a correct cast iron 4bbl intake plus some other misc. parts. The intake was painted Buick green but it's the real deal. It's missing the rear water fitting, I didn't realize it had something like that until I put it on the motor to take a picture. What I need is the cast iron 4bbl intake, a dipstick, oil pickup tube & screen, balancer and Buick HEI distributor. Another thing, if it's here in lower Michigan I'll drive to you.
Agree, price. I am looking at a 64 Lesabre convertible with factory 300 2bbl. Wouldn't mind a factory aluminum intake.
Jim, I'm not in line for the intake. I do have some of the other parts laying around here for a 300 CI. (dipstick, oil pickup tube & screen, balancer). Brian
I don't want to sell it (but I will if the price is right), I want to trade it for the above items if possible which is why I didn't post a price. I know it's worth more than the cast intake. You know the current saying, no one's got money, everyone wants to trade. At least that's where I'm at. I guess if someone wants to buy it outright I'll consider realistic offers, it won't cost much to ship it compared to the cast intake.
