I think its from a '63 wildcat Good shape, everything appears to be there except the tach. Located near Buffalo, NY. $80 includes shipping within the USA, sorry no international shipping.
Wheelz: I have a floor shifter set up out of a 63. I can even include the floor section of the wildcat with the shifter mounting holes, linkage hole and the pivot bracket that is welded to the underside of the floor. The only thing that I am missing is the linkage rod from the trans to the pivot bracket. Need a 63 steering column without a shifter too? got that too. I will have to get you a picture over the weekend. Chris
I will have to check on shipping to Portland. Do you have someone there to ship it overseas? Wheelz has first shot if this shifter deal works out for him. I will be away for the next week so I will not be able to check into anything until I get back. :beers2:
Hey Mike! When you get back, can you tell me, I see a small screw twixt the shifter slot and the shifter indicator in one of your pix.....hmmm, is that factory? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Sorry for the delay. The knob is not great, but it all works. The chrome on the shaft is great. I just don't have the one linkage. I can supply the floor too.... Chris
Chris... I have had fairly decent success restoring 70-72 Buick automatic consoles, and I am intrigued by your shifter and Mikes console... MIGHT BE something I could try.. .. Anyway, WOULD YOU? please send me a pix of the parts you have sorta assembled? I am trying to figure out how it all works together...and WHERE does the missing linkage go? Would you by chance, have a factory service manual page showing the complete console/shifter assembly? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
I don't know I know nothing about these consoles. I took the two screws out (one on each end of the shifter plate) and there is a factory screw retainer that is part of the console. That would lead me to believe that they are factory screws. I could not find anything else that would hold that plate in place.
Chris.... I havent seen a PM reply from you regarding price for your shifter??? PM me, willya! THANX! :beer Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Yep :beers2: If you want to wait until the first week of October the price would be $50 and I would send it via "in-law express" to Springhill Florida.. Youy would just have to pick it up there.
If you are really interested I can wait until you get it and if you decide you want it you can send me the $ I am in no rush to get rid of it. It was just one of those things hanging around that I don't think I will ever use. :beers2:
HOWever you wanna handle this is fine by me! Just lemono When/Where this console arrives in Florida, K? :beer Wheelz, Tampa Bay
