I need some advice from the Experts. I have a chance on a 63 Wildcat tach mtd on consol. My 64 has the consol, the tach is mounted in the consol. I have just a plastic With the Cat logo on it. Can the 63 be fitted into 64 consol? If so what do I need to do to make it fit? Thanks In advance. Gary:beers2:
The tach units are the same, the only thing is the 63 is in a chrome cup and mounted on top of the console, whereas the 64 is in the console itself with no chrome cup. Remove the flathead screw at the back of the cup on the 63 tach, and the tach unit will come out. Then remove the Wildcat piece out of the 64 and put the tach unit in. If you have a chance on a 63 tach for a reasonable price, get it. It will work fine for the 64. Matt
