Hi, I am new to this forum but not to the Buick line. Being Chevrolet bred and Pontiac based I have been around plenty of GM Muscle. But I found this 63 Buick and it really grabbed my attention. I know that buick has always been the luxury Muscle of the GM line, beleive me Ive seen the GNs taillights more than once, back while driving My 403 T/A or my dads Monte SS. And having owned a 65 GS 401, 2x4 with a stick(that never saw the road) I have been exposed to the NailHead lure. Anyway, I found a 63 Wildcat 4 speed 2 dr htop. Was wondering the production #s for a car like this? I have never seen another stick cat other than a few 65 and 66s. Its a complete car missing only the trans. What is the value of this car restored? As it sets? It is solid and straight, has the buckets, tach on the long console, Dk Blue/Blue, it has been in the sellers possession since the early 70s.
    Thanks

    Hummmmmmmmmmmm?

I can not find the numbers on that car! All I can find is the # of 2 door Wildcats made, but there is nothing about the option of a 4 speed? The Total production # was 12,185. That is not to say that they did not make this car with these options but I can't find any info on it. Maybe you should ask Jim Weise. Good luck and happy hunting!

I do not have the production figures but i would guess a few hundred were built. I owned one also. The 4-speed wildcats are rare but they have been coming out of the woodwork lately. Peace WildBill

    I would Check

I would check a few things out first: 1) I would crawl under the car and look at the tunnel and see if the area that the shifter comes up at is a nice clean opening and not hacked away!2)I would get the Vin # and check that also.
    3) get the #'s off the fire wall and it will tell you what the car came with.
If is not all orginal well maybe you can haggle the price down...Another words do what you are doing HOMEWORK ON THE CAR! :Smarty:
