Is there anything weird about 1962 Skylarks? Do they have x-frames or anything? Can a 455 go into one easily or is it a total pain in the a**?
    Thanx.

    john,

they are sub frame car for what its worth. they tend to rust issues in all the wrong places. the rear is bolted in a an odd way, not like a a-body. if your going big power, you will have to sub frame. other than that, they look pretty cool when done up.
btw, help my friend put a 401 4spd in one. WOW!!!!

Probably easier to remove the stock suspension and put a Jegster unit or equivalent under it. Some problems with putting the big block in it but nothing that can't be overcome.

Ya bring the thing down to my shop on a weekend, we cut the front off with a torch, then we put all the stuff out on the street for the scrap guy cause we screwed up big time.
