http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare...:SS:US:1123&item=171045864678&forcev4exp=true Looks very nice. Why oh why did I just buy a new truck on Monday? Not sure about the claim of AM/FM radio, and factory trailer hitch. Anyone out there know for sure if these were available in a '62?
You would think if you are listing a car for sale , you would list the correct year. This is a 1963 buick Not a 62!!!!!!!
It is an AM. If it has an FM, it would be one of those add on FM tuners that borrowed the output circuit fromt AM. I do not recall seeing an FM in 63. If there is, it would have just come out. Most AM/FM radios started out on Rivs and Electras.
Wow, how do you get the year wrong? Like you said, maybe it's wrong on the title. He did make the corrections at the bottom of his ad. It is only an AM radio. 1963 was the first year they offered AM/FM (non-stero). I was lucky enough to have found one for my Wildcat. I find it interesting that the AM/FM has the civil defense triangles on the dial. Sign of the times. I think 63 was the first year for the all-transistor AM radio too. No more warm up. It does have some rare options for sure. A very nice car at with a no reserve auction! Chris
