62 lesabre wheels

As you know, You cant just order a set of wheels for a 62 lesabre. can any tell me anyone who can help me out with aftermarket wheel fitment. I know what i need but just cant seem to find specs on wheels on most wheel sites and nobody really seem to know much about the subject. Any help would be appreciated.

Try wheel vintiques. I have called them before and they were very helpfull.

 

why cant you just order wheels for a 62 Le Sabre ? is the bolt pattern different ?

 

Do '62s have lug bolts (as opposed to studs and nuts) and a pilot stud? (as '55 and earlier have?)?

 

You generally need to know the diameter, width, as well as backspacing and lug pattern to order wheels. You can't just say I need wheels for a '62 LeSable.

62's have studs and lug nuts.

Just make sure wheels will clear Aluminum drums!

 

Its a 5 on 4 bolt pattern. Is it standard gm?

 

It's 5 on 5: 5 lugs in a 5 inch circle.

Your right. I love useing my phone to type stuff out.

 

I would look for a set of 64 Wildcat chrome wheels. They will clear the larger hub that was used 64 and earlier, will clear the drums, and will not require spacers.

If you need a set of standard black steel wheels, I have an extra set of 4 from a 63 LeSabre. $80.00 plus the trip

 

I have some of these wheels available if anybody wants them.

 

I have Coys C-5's 245x45x17 on the 62 LouSabre

 

Lou what's the back spacing on them? I want to run 18x9 same style wheel just black.

 

Mark if he passes let me know if theyre still available. Assuming theyd clear the monster aluminum drums on a 68 riv, going for steelies on my riv for a hot rod look.
