I m doing a 62 skylark withn a v6 in it do drive everyday around town. I would like to upgrade to disc and maybe to 5 lug. any help on this would be great. Thanks Doug
I'm in the process of doing the same thing. After many weeks of reading forums there is all kinds of info out there. I'm looking at two different options. 1. have the hubs drill to fit a chevy wheel - 5 on 4.75 or 2. have the hubs drill to fit a ford wheel - 5 on 4.5 Most everyone uses the 5 on 4.5 but I'd like to keep everything GM if possible. I am only doing disc brakes to the front, rear axles will be drilled for 5 lug, and I will probably use www.scarebird for the conversion parts. Seems to have a good rep. with folks.
