IMG_8273.jpg IMG_8050.JPG IMG_8180.JPG I've had this boat about a year now. Came with a 401/sp400 from a 66 Wildcat. Previous owner roughed in new floors/rockers and put new dual exhaust under it. Since acquiring it, I've replaced most of the ignition, the water pump, rebuilt MC, new wheel cylinders, rear track bar bushings, lowered it, patched up the wiring that the rats made a mess of, new alternator, new aluminum radiator etc. Next on my list includes a carb rebuild and maybe a valve adjustment. Would also like to find a front bench seat for it (has and 88 f150 bench for now) and fix up the interior a little. Any leads on parts would be greatly appreciated.

I just love the back end of that car.. Really thinks that model looks best patina'd / rat and lowered.. Nice car..

Thanks! It's probably gonna stay ratty because it's not really a nice enough example to do all the work to paint (for my skill set and wallet anyway). It has 61 wagon taillights which I think look cooler than 62. Hoping to lower it more eventually.

Interresting that they have used the -61 rear bumper.

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

I like it. Our '62 LeSabre is a bit rough around the edges as well. And, for the same reasons you stated, it's staying that way.
