my motor mounts went south ...... and my motor ate my fan shroud where do i get a replacement one ? or a nos one or does anyone have one for sale

I should probably start looking for a fan shroud for my 62 also...since mine hasn't had one since I bought it. Doh!
62, since my email notification is no longer working, didn't notice your post until today. That book isn't selling anyway, so as long as I don't get any offers before then, I should still have it in two weeks. You could always send me a post dated check, and I'll mail it as soon as it clears.
The '66 Riv uses a unique shroud. Good luck finding one. I got together with a few guys from the ROA and we had some custom made from fiberglass. Last I heard, Classic Buicks has purchased the mold and sells reproductions. They no longer take phone calls, and I don't have their web address on hand. Give them a try.
I looked there....can't find the shroud. Now I'm wondering who that was who has the mold. My old age is becoming apparent.:af:
Since I have never seen the original shroud to my riviera, do you think a shroud from a different car could be modified to fit, for the time being? I have a fan shroud from a late 80's volvo in my samurai helping the chevy motor pull air....Some trimming with tin snips and it fit and works perfect....
As long as you aren't running the A/C, you should be OK as long as your fan clutch is working.:bglasses:
