61 Special Wagon Vin Question.

    I have a 61 Secial Wagon. Last Registered in ND in 1971. Has no Tag on the pillar anymore. There is a number hand stamped into the suport brace in the engine compartment on the drivers side. The HP. Thinks that it is a good # But I would like to know for shure before i go to get the Paperwork Finalized. Can anyone help? The # found on the brace is--- OH1518469 ---. Thanks. BuickSmith.

    The number states:

    1961 Special 4dr station wagon built at the Flint assembly plant.
