Howdy, Do ya'll gurus of Buick wisdom know how GM power steering pumps changed through the years? Will an 84 PS pump fit on a 61 Nailhead? I know I'd need to mess with the fittings probably since the 84 is a metric fitting and the 61 is SAE. Thanks,
Well, I'm not a guru of Buick wisdom that others are, but I put a 73 or 74 350 PS pump, using all the mounts and brackets, onto my 64 300 engine. It bolted right up, and pulleys lined up perfectly. Not sure of nailhead mount locations, perhaps you could test fit the mounts to the block if you already have the parts.
