Does anyone know what brake boosters fit. Mine took a dump today which is fun to learn coming off the highway. Can't find a 61 just a 64 will that fit? What years and models can be used?
Mines gone as well. Mine locks the brakes like a super-duper parking brake when the vacuum line is connected and the car will not move at all. The line will remain disconnected until I can tear it apart and fix what's broken... I hope! I'm not sure what model years are the same for replacement, but expect the 64 might be a good bet. What about the 1961 LeSabre or Invicta's? I wouldn't expect there to be major differences, but who knows. I'm certainly not an expert. Someone here at V8 will have the answers! Good luck!
You can probably have your 61 unit rebuilt. The best in the business is Booster Dewey in Portland Oregon. Look up Brakeboosterexchange.com Marcel.
